My solution to the BCS problem.

Here is my personal opinion on how you fix the current system. I will even put the teams in there to show you how it will work.

Blow it up get rid of all the computers and everything. Bye Bye.

You take the AP and the Coache's Poll and take the top 16 teams. Put them in 2 seperate brackets of 8 and let them play.

This year is how i would have it work. This is if the season ended today:

1. Alabama (Overall #1 seed) Vs.                                                                                         1. Florida Vs.
8. Oregon( 16th ranked team)                                                                                               8. Oklahoma St.

2. Texas Vs.                                                                                                                              2. Oklahoma vs.
7. Georgia Tech                                                                                                                       7. Cincinatti

3. USC vs.                                                                                                                                 3. Penn St. vs.
6. Ball St.                                                                                                                                   6. TCU

4. Utah vs.                                                                                                                                 4. Boise St. vs.
5. Ohio St.                                                                                                                                 5. Texas Tech

For the first round of play just for the sake of competition you would try and make sure that nobody would be playing eachother for a 2nd time. So no rematches. Thats why Okalhoma St. is an 8 seed and Georgia Tech is a 7.

2nd round- just my predictions on what would happen then.

1. Alabama vs.                                                                                                         1. Florida vs.
5. Utah                                                                                                                      5. Texas Tech

2. Texas vs.                                                                                                               2. Oklahoma
3. USC                                                                                                                       3. Penn St.

3rd round- Orange Bowl and Fiesta Bowl. Name them those and give out the trophies. Get the sponsor money too. Also ratings will be up.

1. Alabama vs.                                                                                                      1. Florida vs.
3. USC                                                                                                                    3. Penn St.

Championship Game- Still give out the naming rights to ADT or whatever it is now.

                                                  3. USC vs. 1. Florida.

Your not going to get this game in the current system. These are the 2 best teams in the country.

An 8 team playoff is ok, but you give no chance to the mid major teams like Boise St, Utah, and Ball St, that all ran the table and whent undefeated. They deserve a chance to at least compete for the title.

You will lose no money. Ratings will be 10 X higher because the quality of games will be 10 X better.

Tyler Hansbrough is POY

A few weeks ago i was sold on the fact that Beasley is the best player in the country and puts up the best stats. And therefore deserves POY.

Now i believe differently. I understand the award is POY and not MVP. But i think Hansbrough still deserves POY.

Regardles of a teams record being a factor or not i think Hansbrough deserves it.

Personally i dont think it should go to a guy whose team isnt that great. And its not like he doesnt have any help. Bill Walker and Jacob Pullen are real solid players. I think a teams record should play into the decision. Hansbrough is the best player on the best team in the country.

And hes putting up the stats too. Hes still averaging 23 and 10. Wich isnt Beasley's 26 and 12, but its still very good.

Im sure many will disagree with me soley because its supposed to go to the best player regardless of team, but Tyler Hansbrough has been doing it night in night out for 3 years now and has never faltered. And hes leading his team back to the top.

Psycho T for POY.
